I purchased at an antique store in Missouri

which I think would be great filled with nuts or shells or little treats

and then the shoes have been painted with a terrific amount of detail: patterns of stripes

but it would also be an apt descriptor for the earth mother depicted

I want to see a whole wall of them

Antique Wooden Handled Bevelled Glass Hand Mirror circling fish I purchased at an antiqueThis is a wonderful antique wood hand mirror with orginal bevelled glass mirror and a really lovely patina. I especially love the perfectly round loop at the base of the handle, making for easy holding and hanging. Really a nice one. 9 5 8" long x 6 1 2" wide x 3 8" deep. The wood is in excellent condition; some light scrapes to the mirror around the edges but very usable and structurally very sound.
